The Meprolight MOR PRO is a multi-spectrum reflex sight engineered for critical operational environments, adopted by the IDF and various special forces units globally. It integrates multiple aiming systems to provide comprehensive targeting capability across diverse conditions.
Key Features
Integrated Multi-Spectrum Aiming
The MOR PRO features a sophisticated combination of aiming modalities: a holographic reticle for rapid target acquisition, a highly visible green laser for overt engagement, and an infrared laser specifically for night vision applications. This integration provides operators with adaptable targeting solutions tailored to specific mission parameters.
Redundant Illumination Systems
The holographic reticle employs three independent illumination sources to ensure continuous functionality. A fiber optic light collector automatically adjusts reticle brightness for daytime use, while a tritium lamp provides passive illumination in low-light and dark environments. For scenarios demanding maximum visibility, an adjustable LED emitter delivers an extra bright reticle. This triple-redundancy ensures the reticle remains operational even if one illumination source fails or battery power is compromised.
Advanced Laser Control and Safety
Both the LED emitter and the dual lasers are powered by two independent AA batteries, allowing sustained operation even if one battery is depleted. Laser activation is managed via a PTL (Pressure Tape Light) cable switch, configurable for both momentary and constant modes. A double-click on the PTL switch toggles between these modes, while a multi-position switch on the sight body permits selection between the visible green and IR lasers. An innovative PTL Fault Indicator provides rapid visual notification via a flashing reticle, alerting the operator to a defective PTL switch and mitigating potential operational failures.
Streamlined Zeroing Protocol
An advanced single bore sighting mechanism simplifies and expedites the zeroing process. Operators can calibrate any one of the integrated aiming systems—reticle, visible laser, or IR laser—and the remaining systems will automatically converge to the same point of impact. This feature significantly reduces setup time and enhances operational readiness.
