The Spike’s Tactical Pipe Hitter combat rifle is the result of a direct collaboration with Pipe Hitters Union (PHU) attitude apparel, built to the explicit specifications of the PHU CEO. This rifle system is engineered for utility and consistent performance in demanding environments, integrating robust materials and established design principles to meet operational requirements.
Key Features
Barrel System
The 16-inch barrel is constructed from chrome moly vanadium steel, cold hammer forged, and chrome lined for enhanced durability and bore life. It features 1/2×28 threads for muzzle device integration and is finished with a mil-spec phosphate coating to resist corrosion and wear. A mid-length gas system, incorporating a black nitride finished gas tube both inside and out, ensures optimized gas flow and reliability, mitigating carbon buildup.
Receiver & Rail System
The upper receiver is precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, providing a robust housing for the bolt carrier group. It integrates a free-floating 13.2-inch M-Lok rail system, enabling direct attachment of accessories while maintaining barrel harmonics. The lower receiver features a low shelf and RDIAS (Registered Drop-In Auto Sear) compatibility, along with integrated Q.D. (Quick Detach) attachment points for sling systems. The receiver is marked with the distinctive Pipe Hitter Skull logo.
Fire Control & Ergonomics
The rifle incorporates a two-stage CMG trigger system, designed to provide a crisp and predictable break for enhanced shot placement. An ambidextrous safety selector facilitates manipulation for both left and right-handed operators. Ergonomics are further addressed by the MFT Battlelink Minimalist stock, mounted on a 6-position mil-spec buffer tube, and complemented by an MFT grip for secure handling.
Durability & Finish
The entire rifle system is finished with a hard coat anodized treatment in black, providing a durable and corrosion-resistant surface. The package includes a protective hard case for transport and storage, along with a Hexmag.
